Description PRODUCT INFORMATION General Description Jozini is one of the few locations in South Africa for amethyst geodes! They tend to be mostly circular with a small % being more complex vug like crystalline specimens. The amethyst sometimes has goethite inclusions. The colour intensity ranges from pale to dark amethyst! Not perhaps as nice as the Kwaggafontein material, but very attractive! Sometimes best to cut to display or remove excess matrix. Mining in the region has always been challenging! Price is grade dependant. Items are as shown.
