C454 / C364 Fuser Thermistor

Function: The thermistor actively monitors and controls the heat within the fuser assembly. If the temperature is too low, the toner won’t fuse; if too high, it can damage components or cause errors. Symptoms of Failure: Error codes related to fuser temperature (e.g., C3825 – Fusing abnormally low temperature detection). Faint prints or smudged toner due to insufficient heat. Erratic temperature readings or failure to heat up.
