The Propex HS2000E Blown Air Heater – Gas & Mains. The Propex HS2000E Blown Air Heater delivers automatic, thermostatically controlled heating using propane or butane gas, or 230 V mains electricity.Kit contents:1 x 1 metre 60mm ducting1 x 1 metre combustion inlet pipe1 x 0.75m stainless steel exhaust pipe1 x thermostat3.5 metres thermostat wiring harness3.5 metres 12v supply harness1 directional hot air outlet1 directional cool air return venthose clips, fasteners, screws, inline fuse, instructions, drilling templateEfficiencyThe HS2000E comes standard with a solid state electronic thermostat that automatically switches the unit on and off to maintain the set temperature. When the room temperature falls below the selected level, the Heatsource responds instantly. As a result, it ignites automatically and continues running until the cabin reaches the desired temperature.Using forced air combustion and a Propex two stage stainless steel heat exchanger, the HS2000E provides a clean, highly efficient way to heat your campervan. The system draws combustion air from outside the vehicle, mixes it with gas through three aeration stages, and ignites it automatically to heat the exchanger’s large surface area.A fully room-sealed design vents all combustion products externally through a neat 22 mm internal-diameter stainless steel flue pipe. At the same time, the heater recirculates warm cabin air instead of pulling in cold outside air, further improving efficiency. The HS series also excels in low 12 volt power consumption, drawing less than 1.7 amps during gas operation and just 2.2 amps when running on mains electricity. For vehicles connected to mains hook up, the integrated electric heating element offers a powerful alternative. Three selectable output levels 500W, 1 kW, and 2 kW provide flexible heating while drawing a maximum current of 9 amps.Quiet OperationTo optimise performance, the heater automatically adjusts motor speed at each power level. On the low 500W setting, it minimises motor and airflow noise for quiet night time operation. The unit includes a mains cable with a moulded three pin plug for straightforward connection.
